Whiskey is an example of the power of overcoming past trauma. Rescued from the public shelter in Amara/Slobozia, Romania, Whiskey arrived at Ringo Land Romania fearful and withdrawn, marked by the suffering he had endured. Every touch and every gesture frightened him, but beneath that deep fear was a dog with a warm soul, just waiting for a chance to know true love.
Today, Whiskey is taking his first steps towards a new life, being part of the rehabilitation program of the Dog Rehabilitation Centre Ringo Land Romania, managed with devotion by the No Limit Pets Association. With the help of this program, Whiskey has started to accept people around him, walk on a leash and play with other dogs. He has managed to overcome barriers and even accept the company of cats, a sign of his remarkable progress.
