Hannibal – The Story of a Second Chance
Pe November 28 2023, Hannibal first stepped into Ringo Land Romania, carrying the burden of a difficult past on his shoulders. Saved from Moinești public shelter, this gentle old man spent far too much time in the shadow of fear, without knowing the safety and warmth of a real family.
From the first moment, it became clear that Hannibal needed much more than a safe place – he needed healing, patience and loveThat is why it was included in Dog Rehabilitation Centre behavioral rehabilitation program, led by No Limit Pets Association, where he received the care he so desperately needed.
Thanks to a generous sponsor, who was by his side every step of the way, Hannibal benefited from all the necessary medical interventions: cherry eye surgery in both eyes, treatment for a fluid buildup in one of the hind legs, as well as a liver supportive dietIn addition, he also received a comfortable Flake bed, in which he finally found peace.
On this journey he was carefully guided by veterinary technician, who followed him closely during the recovery period, but also trainers which helped him regain his trust in people. With each passing day, Hannibal made amazing progress: he learned to walk on a leash, got used to the presence of other dogs and even accepts cats.
Today, Hannibal is a happy dog, friendly with people, sociable with other furry friends and ready to find their the long-dreamed-of homeWe wish for him a quiet family, who will love him exactly as he is – a noble soul, who has finally found his balance.
