On April 2, "International Autism Awareness Day" was marked by the beneficiary children from the "Day Center for Children with Special Needs" through a wonderful group educational activity entitled "The Cheerful Heart".
Educational activity:
The activity was designed to promote understanding and acceptance of autism, giving children the opportunity to learn and express themselves in an inclusive and loving environment. Through interactive games and exercises, the children explored themes such as empathy, friendship and the importance of accepting differences.
Surprise party:
After the activity, the children were pleasantly surprised by a “surprise party” organized especially for them. The event was enriched by the presence of a puppy and a kitten, which brought joy and enthusiasm among the children. Interacting with the animals was a therapeutic experience, helping the children to relax and feel more connected to their environment. The animals were made of plush, bringing an extra touch of spontaneity and joy.
Participation of the No Limit Pets Association:
No Limit Pets Association, represented by our veterinary technician Madalin, was honored to participate in this event. Madalin was present to talk about animal welfare and to answer any questions related to their care. His presence added value to the event, emphasizing the importance of the relationship between animals and children.
Special thanks:
We would like to extend special thanks to the "No Limit Pets" Association for their involvement in organizing the wonderful "surprise party" and for providing fruits and juices to the beneficiary children. Their support significantly contributed to the success of the event and to the creation of beautiful memories for the children. – Social Assistance Directorate of Bacau Municipality
