Vaccinations for March 2025

We have already completed the vaccinations for March! We managed to vaccinate 115 dogs and cats, with the support of our veterinarian and technician Madalin, together with Mrs. LenutaThe coordination of these efforts was possible thanks to the dedication of our office colleague, Mihaela, who ensures that all dogs are dewormed and vaccinated properly.

In the two shelters of the No Limit Pets Association, Ringo Land Romania and Sanctuary Ringo Land, one of the most important activities is vaccination. Both rabies and polyvalent vaccinations are essential for maintaining the health of the dogs and cats in our shelters.

The importance of rabies vaccination

Rabies vaccination is crucial for the following reasons:

• Vital protection: Rabies is a fatal viral disease that affects the central nervous system. Vaccination is the only effective measure to prevent this disease.
• Public health: By vaccinating against rabies, we protect not only animals, but also humans, as rabies can be transmitted from animals to humans.
• Legislation: In many countries, including Romania, rabies vaccination is mandatory for pets, thus ensuring a safer environment for the entire community.

The importance of polyvalent vaccination

Polyvalent vaccination covers several common diseases, such as:

• parvovirus: A highly contagious and potentially fatal disease for dogs, especially puppies.
• Infectious canine hepatitis: Affects the liver, kidneys and other vital organs.
• adenovirus infection: Also known as "kennel cough," it is a contagious respiratory infection.
• Leptospirosis: A bacterial disease that can affect both animals and humans.
